Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87.5 points

  • Nose of fresh cut yellow apples, limestone, lemon an dine zest. Nice mineral notes. Lighter palate than anticipated with everything on the nose plus earthy apple core, hints of spiced applesauce, and a juicy apple finish. More palate intensity would earn a higher eval, but this is a solid Macon. Well put together and enjoyable. Really enjoy the $19.99 price tag (Westgate Wine) as this easily out-values many of the village level wines at the $25 price point. Style & Quality: B+ (88). Value: B+ (88). Overall Evaluation: B+ (88).
