Enjoyed the complexity of this wine. Nose starts with yellow apples and hints of lime citrus developing into earthier apple core, and a grassy, hay-like notes. Definitely a sharp, mineral presence on the nose as well. Palate is focused on orchard fruits with apple flesh, citrus zest, and plenty of wet limestone. Mineral driven for sure but not at the expense of fruit. Sub $20 at Westgate Wine is a definite value. With the quality and price, no way I can go lower than an A- (90) evaluation here.

As every top French sommelier knows – and it’s been true for decades, this remarkable Macon, from high-altitude 75 to 90-year-old vines, can equal or even surpass most Meursaults and Pulignys at three times the price. Or more.

Light creamy color. White fruits, roasted candied cashews. Gooseberry? The nose leaped out at first, but mellowed and matured throughout the night. All stainless???? I really thought there was oak. How can there not be with this flavor? Great value. Blind M said "NOT Pinot Grigio". Very, very attractive wine.
