Staff picks (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): That fruit forward red berry richness that talks of warm climate, Grenache, slight perfumed herbaceousness to the nose. In the mouth it has rich red fruit straying into the savoury spectrum with tight drying tannins but also a fair hit of spice over alcohol heat. Kind of nice. Good QPR.

Super Southern Rhone (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Slightly closed and reductive. With air and agitation it offers cherry, candied fruit and slight peppery spice. On the palate it's dense and thick but with fleshy fruit and a fair amount of alcoholic grunt which makes this not for the fair hearted. Fruit is there though and carries through. Good QPR.

Marsanne, Viognier, Clairette
Med plus straw
Nose shows very floral scent of Viognier, fruity and ripe, provencal herbs, minerally driven.
Palate is softer, med to med low acid, med bodied. Melon and Cantaloupe, with alcoholic burn aftertaste, slightly herbaceous.
87.
