  • Wonderful, wonderful wine. This wine dances on the palate. Complex aromatics waft out of my Zalto, floral, herbal, even curry spices. The acids have tamed down over the years. This is the most pale red wine, I have ever drank, but it is one of the most delicious. Their are signs of aging, with browning around the rim. If you are lucky enough to have a bottle drink it now.

  • This is a wine that benefits from exposure to air, at least half an hour, preferably a bit more, after which it gains in body. This is a wine that needs food, due to its high acidity. There is a cherry note, along with a healthy dose of funk on the nose. There is a savory note along with tomatoes on the palate, just as the previous reviewer mentioned. I can't help but feel that the wine needs more time. Does anyone have experience with older examples of this wine?

  • All about tomatos. This wine has earth, fruit, acid, and umami. Lightly (tomato) colored so the tannins and structure come unexpectedly. Adjunct flavors of tart cherry and cranberry with copious minerality and earth. A balance of bright acidity and savoryness.

  • PnP, this light bodied affair has light cherry, rhubarb, earth and spices on both the nose and the palate. Zippy acidity and very quiet tannins round out the palate, which has a light mouthfeel. This is a food wine, I paired with baked chicken and carrots, a good complement.
