Slightly cooked, stewed fruit. Went back through my purchase notes on CT, found this was purchased from the dreaded PLCB in 2017. That explains it and their horrible, unrefrigerated storage and distribution system. I'd like my $47.99 back!

Opened with raclette. This had a dark crimson color. Deeper and richer than the Cadeau Pinots of 5-10 years ago.Less minerality as well. Loaded with dark red fruit and some oak notes. Full bodied. 91 points.

Consumed as part of a verticle (2012 and 2014). The 2015 is still a very young wine and needs 2 or 3 more years to cellar. The nose has not matured compared to prior vintages. If you have a bottle, cellar it for 2 or 3 years and it will be phenomonal.

This is such a good Pinot. It shows wonderful complexity and is very fruit forward for a cool climate wine. Kudos to the Mortimers for their effort--really nice
