Very much in the style of 2007 with a lean texture and fruit that seems not quite fully ripened, and certainly not rich or lush, but also with an enjoyable earthy, rustic character, a firm structure, silky mouthfeel and plenty of verve. Better than previous bottles. Did not sense that it was fading.

Overall a decent wine, but not surprisingly, a bit diluted and somewhat lightweight. Strawberry and red cherry with some earth and spice. The fruit is just a bit sour and the texture is somewhat thin. My least favorite 2007 from Le Cadeau.

Opened up after an hour. Age has done this Pinot well. Acidity and structure in tact an fruit is well integrated. Happy with my purchase. One of the better '07 I have tasted.
