4th Saturday Brown Bagger (Sue's): Double blind. Opens with a petrol overtone, with apple and smoky white fruit underneath-first thought is riesling. The palate shows heightened acidity and a subtle citrus element. A riesling bouquet with a sauv blanc palate.

Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney): perfumed, floral, slight bruised orchard fruit. Bit wild ferment funky on the palate finishes meaty and this rather dominates proceedings. Meh.
