I really like where this wine has ended up. A lithe version of zinfandel. All the structure has melted into baking spices and berry compote. With some air there are some floral and strawberry notes that emerge as well as a bit of fine tannin. This is my last bottle but it was in a perfect spot, I'd continue drinking this soon if I had more.

This is such a unique representation of the grape. It is light+ bodied, with bright red fruit that is lightly tart with some floral notes lurking in the background -- it's the polar opposite of most Zins from California. Gulpable. I really appreciate the lower alcohol content too (13.3% abv).

This wine makes me happy, and isn’t that what it’s all about? Simply delicious, a fine QPR, and I’ve never had a zin, or any other wine, quite like it.

Popped and poured. Vibrant cinnamon and black fruit aroma. Complex mix of flavors includes cherries, allspice and some leafy notes. Rich, full earthy cherry finish. Has the normal IPR restraint, balance, and delicacy. Another distinctive and wonderful zinfandel from Briceland

Doing quite nicely. I liked the more stone fruit notes on day 1 more than the tighter more tannic version on day 2.
