  Drank with Ramondi along with a 2013 St Jean Pinot. Good. Did not take notes. Drinkable now

  Not typically being a fan of California pinot, this bottle really surprised me. In a great place right now. Initial earthy nose that has a touch of old world to it, but given the red fruit on the nose would not really be confused for old world. Wonderfully balanced. On day two, the earth notes on both the palate and nose had died out, but the fruit was still strong and still balanced by moderate acide. Overall, a very nicely balanced wine.

  Mostly fruit forward with notes of raspberry and cherry. A bit dusty or smoky on the finish. Nice medium body with a touch of acidity. Not terribly complex but very tasty.

  After two hours decanting, this wine has a quite forward varietal nose with a lovely cherry fruit base and a full body. Great finish. This wine is a keeper!
