Another hit from Chehalem. Maybe just a few months past it's peak but classic Oregon Pinot here. Nice medium to light purple color with a small bit of orange mixed in. Spice and cloves on the nose mixed with nice bright red fruits. Medium tannins and a short finish made this very enjoyable but slightly one dimensional.

Beautiful. Medium burnt cranberry color. Delicate fruit and wood on the nose. Nicely balanced. Cherry and peppery floral flavors. The finish is smooth, with ample but balancing tannins; nicely integrated and structured. Notes of licorice and cinnamon on day two.

Need to find my detailed notes, but from memory, this showed well for what it is - perhaps a shade past prime but still very lively and balanced.
