  This is very well made, although not my style. Less oaked than I recall, and certainly holds up to the cellar. Some modest lemon along with the vanilla malolactic thing. Citrus very much helps here. Medium length finish. Price feels appropriate.

  True to to the Wagner Family template this is made in a ripe, buttery, malo style. The oak influence is obvious but it’s offset by a lively cut that frames lemon, stonefruit, and spicy oak flavors. It has a creamy texture and a lush mouthfeel which are capped off by brook stones and butterscotch on the finish. This is pretty tasty, very balanced too, but I like a little less oak in my Chardonnay.
