  • Bill's Monthly Lunch - April 2013 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – Toasty nose with roasted oak and warmer fruit had me thinking this was a new world wine. Bit of mocha too. Nice acidity and powdery tannins with a slightly sweeter fruit profile on the palate. After assessing the entire package (nose and palate) I though perhaps an old world wine from a warmer vintage—every now and then you get lucky. Very good.

  • maybe the best bottle of wine I've ever had! Certainly the best one I've ever had from a producer that nobody knows..Exceptional fruit..big blast of strawberry and licorice on the nose and the enjoyment goes on from there. Layer after layer of pure pleasure. Orgasm in a glass. Simply could not get enough of this hidden gem. Easily the hit bottle of the party...Shame none left, but still have a bottle of the 01!
