Darker golden yellow with amber hues; cashews, apricot pit, some kind of glue, like wood glue, in a good way ;) dried pine cone, (first time I ever used that one, but sorry, that's what popped into my head), slight honey residue; plush and oily on the palate, creamy almost, good weight, mouth filling; good lift, slight skin tannins (must be some skin contact going on), very concentrated, really balanced, long finish. Bone dry, with a hint of molasses. Stunning wine for of life and character. Immediate impression was a little oxidized, but after 10 minutes of warming up this just took off.
