Beautiful bright garnet color. Elegant oak frame to a powerful blackberry, cocoa, and prunes bouquet on the nose. Palate is medium body, fine tannins (M) and plums. Perhaps a bit tired and lacking a bit of brightness (my fault, it went through very high temperatures for weeks this past summer. Poorly stored in that sense). Later on, it woke up a little and was showing its characteristic menthol/eucalyptus notes surrounded by the cocoa and black fruit.

Enofusión 2017; 1/23/2017-1/25/2017 (IFEMA - Madrid): Do you overcook and use french oak with Tempranillo? Well that's because you want to forget the coolness and imitate the style of RdD. Also you like that alcohol (14 ABV) has weighed in the set, right? I am far from all this.

Very ripe, modern, smoked oak, coffee, jammy red fruits, slight herbal notes.
