Syncline does wonders with Rhône varietals, and this offering is no exception. In its early stage there is plenty of fruit and enough acid to balance it out to a silky mouthfeel and long delicious finish. I would say to drink now and over the next 2 years for best results.

Enjoyed this, especially on the second night. Dark red NW fruits on the nose, mixed with notes of brick dust and flint. Fruit forward on the palate with black cherry and dried strawberry notes. On the first night it finished slightly bitter, it reminded me of grapefruit, though the wine wasn't very acidic - it was just slightly off. But by night two this had resolved nicely and overall the wine was a bit darker, smooth with a finishing note of caramel.
Not at all bad for a grape that usually falls in the bottom few percentages of a blend....

Way too 'hot' - seemed high alcohol unusual, so may have been a flawed bottle.
