  Opaque purple in color, this wine (85% Malbec/15% Merlot) reveals rustic aromas of violets, stewed plum, blackberry and bramble. The mouth is fuller bodied and tannic with earthy, mineral undertones. The finish is tight and closed, suggesting this bottle needs several more years of cellar time. 13% abv.
  
  Purchased for $12US, this is a good, entry level offering that shows its sense of origin. In a few more years, it'll probably be even better when it settles down.

  Intensely fruity, a little acidic. Probably younger than ideal.
