Decanted off sediment and enjoyed right away - deep purple color, nose full of baking spice with a little sweet vanilla and black cherry. Lush black currant and black cherry, well integrated oak, and fine dusty tannis. Nice acidic backbone - mouth is watering after every sip. Very excited for the ribeyes that just finished resting, this is great stuff! Open today but should easily go another 10 years.

No 'brick tinge' in the glass; sediment is prevalent.; muttled flavor profile ... tasted 'tired'; not in balance. Disappointing for the price paid.

This wine is drinking beautifully right now. Swanson is a special group of folks making quality juice. Alexis is always a winner
