Fruit was a little muted but opened up in glass. Quite a bit of sediment but red fruits finally came through. Medium weight and low tannins. 30 second finish

This was my lone bottle and a delicious red blend primarily comprised of cabernet and merlot. With just a little time in the bottle this opened up fantastically. Needed thirty-forty minutes to come into work at own. Red cherry, spices, and a long finish.

Gave it 3 hours in glass before tasting. Pencil shavings, cinnamon, menthol on the nose. Silky mouthfeel with deep/dark red fruits, sugar plums, and blueberry pie in mid palate. Nice medium length finish with kick of pepper. Very enjoyable wine; wish I had more.

Steve is a great guy, but I’m usually hit or miss on his wines. However, tonight this was firing on all cylinders. Great red fruit, good complexity and depth, some earth you’d expect in aged Bordeaux. Really good.

Easy on the palate, good fruit notes, typical of the 14s, won't offend anyone.
