This isn't bad, but it is just kind of whatever. The nose shows one-dimensional, late-harvest aromas of prune, raisin, stewed plum. Definitely has some heat. Palate matches the the nose, and is pleasant, but not memorable.

Pleasant dessert drink. Initially blueberry, giving way to ripe raspberry on the nose. In the mouth it was a bit clipped - not the typical mouth-coating flavor burst I expect from JC Cellars - but very good nonetheless. Drizzled over vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries was a great match.
