Festival of Alex - Clare Valley Cellar Doors: Butter, orange and a bit of oak showing through. Good mix of richness and oak driven structure on the palate. Good length, I'm not sure where this will go when the freshness of the fruit fades though.

Grosset new vintage (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Lemon, butter, cream, slight sweet spice over dusty and peachy notes. Juicy, buttery, old school chardonnay, quite rich but with sufficient acidity to support the long spiced and slightly warm finish.
