As Siggy mentions - this is New World in style but don't go thinking that means this tastes like California Chard ... this still has more Old World elements than the US stuff does at the bottom end of the price spectrum. I, personally, love this wine and will most certainly be buying more. It is one of the best simple drinking whites I've tasted all year.

Screwcap. Decent, but nothing memorable, even considering the price (~$12-13). Modest tropical fruits, some spice, and heavy oak. New World in style. I much preferred Verget's 05 Vire-Clesse, which was only a few dollars more.

actually a very nice wine, slight hint of citrus, vanilla and mid-length mouth feel and finish. Verget is very good across the range

Round and untuous, an excellent wine considering its price. Green apple and pears bouquet. At the mouth vanilla, butter, apples and melon.

Viscous appearance. At first, it smelled like yeast, then smell of apples and lemon/lime. Citrus flavors like mandarin. A bit too warm.
