Popped and poured with about 20 minutes open. Nose: dark brambly notes with that unmistakable Italian note. Palate: dark, earthy, nice tannin back bone, dark fruit, nice grip but the tannins are nicely rounded and there aren't any edges here. Finishes long and grippy. Might have opened this early and it might have aged nicely. Still worked very well with the Italian takeout we had tonight. Would buy again.

Dark burgundy colour. Fairly mild aromas of ripe cherry, currant, and herbal/wood notes. Dry and light body with fresh cherry/berry taste. Tannins are noticeable but very well integrated and a great balance with some acidity. Nice dry peppery aftertaste. Drinks well on its own and we had pizza with it also...no complaints. Good deal...especially for a 2015.

From a 375 priced at $26 in a restaurant. Ibid the other tasters notes, a young and fresh Sangiovese. Balanced acid and resolved tannins. Nice with food. The bottle was finished quickly.

Modest nose of cherries and spice, moderate tannins. This is a good, moderately priced Chianti that I would buy again for everyday drinking.
