Pale golden. Bracingly acidic, as anticipated, but lacking richness in the middle that we often look for and enjoy in these creatures. As typical with these wines, there is a lovely and lingering finish -- with hints of old walnuts and curry --and this is the best part about this wine. Otherwise, it's on the austere aside for its genre. Still, quite enjoyable in small pours over six nights.
