Same experience as previous bottle. At least I got some enjoyment from this bottle. The fruit is not that rich, and it tastes really oaked. The color is a translucent dark garnet similar to a Santa Barbara pinot noir.

Retail $17.76. Lodi is known for its big, bold, and boisterous Zinfandels. Sure, there are exceptions, but for the most part, Lodi Zins are full-throttle, in your face, get out of my way expressions of what many consider to be “America’s variety.” This is certainly no exception: rich red and dark berry fruit with ample vanilla, anise, and a touch of smoke, this wine announces its authority immediately. At 15%, this is certainly not shy but stops short of overbearing. Drink this in the short term with friends who like to argue, shout, and even tango.
A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, raspberry, vanilla and spices on finish. Better than your average Zin. www.winelx.com

Nice fragrance of cherries and plum. Good legs and dark ruby color. Moderate mouth feel. Dark fruit and fig on the palate. Tart short finish.
