My first bottle was in July 2017 and it was decanted for 1~2 hours. It was rather earthy with strong dark fruit, good acid and a medium finish; not very complex. My second bottle was April 2018 and this time it was decanted over seven hours then cooled. Dark fruit and earthy nose, dark fruit, smoke, earth, spice, nice acidic bite and a very lengthy, drying finish. Much improved with lots of air, so I guess this needs another couple of years but my opinion improved significantly.

Deep violet color. This nose screams pepper, lots of black peppercorn and bell pepper notes with smokiness and black fruits. Nice acidity and strong tannins with a lingering finish.
