Lovely dark gold color. Needed about 20 minutes to open up. Would have benefited from a decant. Super rich, deep Chard. Really good and a lot of life left!

New Year Eve: Nose: Suggests a degree of neutrality and a hint of butter. Palate: {Med body, nice fruit, light touch of oak and hint of butter as promised on the nose . Nice integration of fruit and acid with lingering finish. A pleasure to drink alone or with food.

2023 New Years Eve: As nice as this was, it was clearly the odd man out in our chardonnay lineup. More full bodied, apple, pear, peach, butterscotch and oaky spice.

2023 New Years Eve Celebration! (Kevin's House): Big, rich CA Chardonnay! This Chardonnay is what it is....some (like me) will love it, others (especially Francophiles) not so much! This is right in my wheelhouse for Chardonnay. Definitely, 100% American!
Nose is floral with white flowers, some stone fruit and some butterscotch. Palate is chalked full of fruit, ranging from pear to various stone fruits to Gala apples, coupled with a healthy dose of toasted oak and a slightly butterscotch finish. Delicious! 94 points for my palate and very friendly, crowd pleasing Chardonnay for sure! My favorite of all the still whites!

New Years Eve (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light medium gold color. Drank a glass over an hour plus. This was bigger, peppery, lemon, a bit of brine, oak, with a white pepper finish.
