This is very good. Banyuls style wine. Sweet but not cloying, good balance. Bright raspberry fruit with orange peel essence. A lovely aperitif or light dessert wine. Clos Selene does nice wines overall and this is a good example of the breadth.

A delicious, not overly-sweet red dessert wine. Grenache with a wisp of syrah, fortified with brandy in the Banyuls style. Blackberry and plum nose, with a silky palate of dried cherries and fig. A lively acidity balances the sweetness perfectly in this distinctive Paso Robles dessert wine.

Paso Robles Wine Trip; 9/12/2017-9/14/2017: This Brandy-fortified dessert wine smells like raspberry jam and candied raspberry along with chocolate. Rich but not too sweet on the palate with low acidity, juicy raspberry and plum cake. Notes of vanilla, coconut and coffee. Fun stuff. Grenache but 3% Syrah, aged 14 months in neutral French oak.
