  • A mature, full yellow with a golden tint. Pineapple, nuts and a very minor sense of barrique. Then, more specifically, cacao and cashew, followed by more complex nuttiness, more complex pineapple and a suggestion of toffee apple. Fully body. Viscous and fat with super-concentrated ripe yellow fruit. A little alcoholic mid-palate at one point, leaving a distinct prickle on the finish, but this sorted itself out quickly. Very long and fine plus.

  • Very nice. Good fruit with excellent acidity. This really is a great balance between California and Puligny//Chassagne wines. Wish I would have bought more than 2 when I saw them for $12.
