Gras, mûr, opulent, manque un peu de fraîcheur, clairement un vin pour la table. Bouchon plastique (!) - incompréhensible pour un vin qui se veut de garde?

Fun with Pucelles and Amoureuses (Hughes House - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind. Seemed like a modern styled Burgundy given ripeness, fleshiness and a pronounced sense of new oak. Slightly awkward for now, but with good+ density. Better to cellar a few years, 89-90 point potential, better 2023 forward.

Nose: expressive complex oaky aromas and ripe fruit Mouth: m acid, smooth texture, high fruit concentration and long length Conclusion: excellent oak matured Chardonnay, not as elegant as Montrachet, but more California style with ripe fruit and predominant oak

Similar to prior notes, this is just great stuff. Golden color Pineapple, lemon rind, tropical fruits and oak. Full bodied, medium+ acid, medium alcohol, long finish. Really great QPR for high quality white burg IMO.

Medium gold Nose of pineapple, lemon, brioche, creamy vanilla oak Palate creamy, lemon curd, mineral, oak, wood is present but not obtrusive. High acid, long finish, excellent value white burg, absolute bargain at $60 CAD. Drinking window easy 5-10 years, maybe longer.
