Improved since my last bottle (TN 12/21) as the wine has opened up and entered the stage of early maturity. On the nose ripe and sweet cherry fruit, some sous bois and some balsamic notes. In the mouth the wine is generous, quite fullish for a Chambolle-Musigny village and warming in a pleasant way. The tannin has mostly melted away and with a quick decant the wine is ready to go. Not very complex but very tasty!

This wine smelled like varnish and prunes when I first opened it—nasty. But after an hour or two, the stench blew off to reveal a really big, elegant wine, although not the fabulously floral scented Chambolle I prefer ( and rarely get). I think it’s fully mature, but decant it and don’t touch it for at least two hours.

Coravin glass. Red fruit, spices, a bit tart but overall very good. No time to give this any air, which I think would help.
A few days later and another coravin pour and it was really delightful. 30 min in the glass before drinking —not on purpose but I think it helped. Fruit is ripe but not sweet, raspberry and cranberry and very delicate yet had some backbone. Raising my score to 91

An impressive village Chambolle-Musigny! Sweet ripe cherryfruit and sous-bois on the nose, which remains rather reticent in its current state of evolution. In the mouth there is lightness, but very good intensity, coupled with structure and freshness and a surprising amount of minerality. While the fruit is still a bit tart and begs for another 2 - 3 years in the bottle, this is quality material with unmistakable pinosité, a good natural balance and further potential down the road.

Ripe, but well balanced, it is ready to be enjoyed PnP. Secondary notes are starting to emerge. Excellent intensity. Superb villages!
