pnp, perfect cork and level - showing surprisingly well, youthful but drinking, quite rich and layered with orchard fruit, hint of tropics, fine citric cut, round, fine attack and lift, upside, 10+ years. F (17.5) and more to it than Leeuwin Art Series 18 chard.

Very enjoyable without clearly being 1er Cru quality. Quite sharp with bitey minerality. Good wine to have with a fish lunch (although I had a toasted cheese sandwich).
Medium, green-straw color with no sign of age. Prominent aroma with the oak first jumping out followed by lemon, grass and flint.
The oak is a lot more subtle on the palate, which is primarily lemon + a boot bit of white flowers and grass, with plenty of minerality. Fairly acidic, medium bodied. The minerality lingers but most of the other flavors don’t so much.

Nose of marzipan, apple schnapps, and pistachio. Medium-to-full-bodied, with crisp acidity and lots of minerality. Flavours of mineral water, pomelo, banana, and star fruit, with some vanilla oak in the background.
