Sierra de Gredos is 80k west of Madrid, Mediterranean meets Alpine, 600-1200m, sand, schist, granite. 4ha of estate vineyard, plus they work with 10ha of others. Est in 2009 by 4 friends, Javier Garcia is winemaker and also winemaker at Jimenez-Landi. A 13.5%, mid weight wine. Lots of fresh red berry fruit on the nose. Has a ripe red fruit and citrus pop. High acid on mid body, lots of fruit, super drinkable. Some, medium/- tannin.
