Nose: honey, apple skins, and ammonia/pineapple juice (I mean the sour aspect to the juice, not the sweet aspect, hence having a tinge of ammonia that I find in most, if not all, carricante wines).
Palate: chalk and lemon confit; the finish clips very short in terms of weight but echoes very long in terms of taste. A subtle lingering of tropical fruit.
There is certainly more flavor than in earlier days, but the intense tingling minerality seems to have calmed. All that considered, at this point it may be better waiting a few more years to let it settle into its next stage of development. But, as always, this is a fascinating wine.

So not sure what the reviewer of this wine was trying to say. I found this wine super complex crazy good salty, lemon dusty chablis meets puligny. Second time having this wine. Amazing

Wow, that is a great, complex textured white. Minty, honeyed, tart but buttery, and almost fino/manzanilla-like, and ooooh so salty. A smoky fennel accumulative finish. Really makes me think of coastline smells and tiny, salty fried fish.
