Lots going on with this kitchen sink blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Petit Verdot, and Petite Sirah. The nose is full of sous bois, decaying leaves, and an oxidative undercurrent. Savory and charred, the dark plum, wintergreen, caramel, and Tootsie roll flavors are infused with mocha sweetness countered by a briny, marine-like quality. Good wine.
