A blend of Camaralet (30%), Gros Manseng (30%), Petit Manseng (30%), Courbu (5%) and Lauzet (5%). 14% alcohol.
Quite pale lime-green color. Very open, expressive and surprisingly Sauvignon Blanc-like nose with quite herbaceous aromas of gooseberries, some green currants, a little bit of sharp green apple, light currant leaf and tomato stalk tones and a hint of white asparagus. The wine is ripe, moderately full-bodied and somewhat tactile on the palate with lively overall character and somewhat green flavors of golden currants, tart cloudberries, some leafy herbaceous character, a little bit of gooseberry, a hint of fresh white peach and a touch of quinine bitterness. Overall the wine is structured and crunchy, thanks to the racy acidity. The finish is quite crisp and racy with juicy flavors of currant leaves, ripe gooseberries, some sappy greenness, a little bit of golden currant, a hint of apple juice and a touch of pithy grapefruit bitterness.
A very fresh, somewhat vegetal and really structure-driven dry Jurançon that is still very young and quite tightly-knit. Feels surprisingly Sauvignon Blanc-like for a wine that has no Sauvignon Blanc at all in the blend. Overall I have a hunch that the wine could benefit from further aging, so probably another 3-5 years in a cellar couldn't really hurt. An enjoyable, classic example of dry Jurançon. Great value at 13,90€.

A bit on the young side, performed best during the second day. On the first day the acids were very prominent and the bitterness dominated to much in the aftertaste. On the second day the wine showed more balance with honey, white peach and orange.

Vinosphere (Town Hall, Sydney): As per the Cauhape Chante des Vignes but more stone fruit. Similarly generous on his palate, finishes tight and astringent though. I still kind of like it...

Lots going on here - fresh and aromatic. Maybe a hint of cucumber? Very good.
