This is a wallopingly massive fruit bomb (in a pleasing way). The dark fruit is still super fresh and concentrated. The secondary notes from oak are smooth and vanilla-like, and the tertiary are just starting to emerge. Full-bodied with an pronounced nose, good structure with acid and tannins, this can certainly sit for a few more years. Went well with pizza to balance the salt with its lush black plums and black cherries. Epiphany does big and bold Syrah - New World style for sure, but if you enjoy big fruit with complexity, this is your wine.

Just about perfect. Up there with $90 wines. Soft tannins and velvety.
