  • This bottle was the match that ignited my love for St. Emillion wine.
At first I was skeptical because of the absence of aroma, a very subtle black fruit aroma, the wine had. But like a ticking bomb when the wine touched my tongue, I was hooked. The black fruit again was present on the first sip. As I was swishing the wine in my mouth hoping the notes would fall in place and reveal their secrets I would get a spicy smoked oak note. What kept me interested was every now and then a wet fungal Forrest floor note would apprear but would run and hide any time I tried to evaluate that note more in depth. With every sip that ended a dusty chocolate tannin would be the parting gift from this wine. A fantastic wine at a even more fantastic price
