Confraria Tre Bicchieri, restaurante La Pulpería Paseo Itaigara.

Nose of black cherry, blackberry, stone fruit, some oak. Full bodied, medium finish, clean. Balanced acidity and tannins. Overall a nicely balanced merlot.

Really big wine here, blind I thought it was Cabernet. A bit over cooked, nearly burnt at the start but the started to blow off after a while. Notes of tar, burnt pie crust, baked fruits, some burnt rubber, oak and coffee. Still young but not sure if there is enough acidity there to get much better. Prob worth it to hold a few more years to see.

Deep red with tobacco on the nose, ripe cherries. Should have bought more.

A full hour open before start of drinking. We enjoy Duckhorn especially the nuances of Merlot
