Been some years since my last Silvaner, so am happy to taste it again. Aged in large and used FR oak barrels for 9 months. Medium+ golden colour. Quite expressive aroma of peaches, ripe pears and yellow apples, acacia, yellow plums. Palate is rich and creamy with persistent fruity and flinty flavours, mild acidity and bitter finish.

Strong wet stony smell, perhaps less obvious fruit than the "pur mineral". Good body and weight in the mouth with low acidity (or at least not perceptibly acidic). Extremely mineral tasting in the mouth. Long smooth refreshing finish. Very good.
