On the nose a little bit of petrol masking some honey, smoky, toasted aromas. On the palette citrusy, lemon notes initially that gave way to toasted almonds and a long, buttery finish. This wine was more complex and had a lot more body than I expected. I popped/poured but next time would definitely let this breathe in the fridge or decant this to let that petrol aroma blow off first. I bet this still can last a number of years more.

One of the best value for money white Burgs out there: apricot, white peach, toast, tropical fruit, almond, soft lychee, medium round, persistent long finish. Teun & Astrid over for drinks.
