  • Unable to taste the full potential at this point. The 2019 is drinking superbly so hopefully it will be able to reach that level, just will need 3+ years to get there. Not as approachable as many other similar 1er Crus tasted on the night which seems a little uncharacteristic for the vintage.

  • South facing plot and close to the tree line near the top, lots of limestone.

Lovely vaporous nose of excellent depth, mineral rich and offering yellow fruits and some spice.

The palate too is rich on the attack, very intense with great mineral expression and some tension. Creamy and mealy it has a neatly concentrated core and a long, tasty finish.
