Good, young Napa cab. Classic flavors of dark red berries, cassis, and a hint of cedar. Not overdone, good balance, silky texture. Not sure if this will improve but it’s drinking well now.

Decanted and enjoyed with a medium rare ribeye. Deep ruby color, bordering on purple. Full body. Youthful, with a ton of primary fruit: blackberry, black currant, black cherry, and black plum. Gritty tannin initially, but things settled down with the decant and food. Solid structural foundation which will support further cellaring. Drink now with decanting or hold for another 7-10 years.

Plum Market Fall Luxury Tasting (Chicago, IL): Not an overdone Napa, but clearly just too young. Lots of fruit and structure that just needs some time to mature. Slightly discernible pyrazines.

Plum Market Luxury Tasting (Bad Hunter - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting. Rich and ripe black fruit with modern and nearly sweet character, but overall very good balance with restraint that I admire.

The Sorting Table's Extraordinary Estate Wines (Plum Market - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, brief note. Clearly ripe, but this has the concentration to handle the ripeness. Black cherry, some plum with slightly sweet spice. Good weight and balance. 90 point potential.
