Unique wine from CA…60% Ribolla Gialla, 31% Tocai Friulano, 9% Chardonnay. Might have missed the best of this after reading TNs from those familiar, but this is still a beautiful rendering. Enjoyed on New Year Eve and enjoyed a last glass next day. Awesome to try new things, very good, reminds me of Italian whites from the Friuli region. Happy & Safe New Year!

Magnum and my last bottle of the 16. I typically like these within the first 3 years but the large format kept this lovely blend signing. Definitely settled down a bit but showing beautifully. This bottle went quickly as our guests loved it too.

The 2016 is nearer the end than the beginning of the drinking window, but it is still delicious. Low acidity, soft pear and apple flavors, with a tinge of bitterness in the aftertaste. I preferred the younger version, but I'm not going to complain too much, as this was delicious. Even my wife, the ideological red-wine drinker, who kicks and screams whenever I open a bottle of white wine, had to admit that this was an excellent accompaniment for halibut.

Grilled scallops, grilled zucchini, couscous. Excellent richness vs acidity to work with scallops, Mediterranean spices on the zucchini. Wish i had more of this wine
