The first evening the wine was gentle, a bit too smooth, nothing wrong. The second evening the grown backbone with a perfect ripe acidity made the wine firm and combined with more bouquet (a whiff of vanilla, green grass, flowers) and lovely bitters in the aftertaste, the wine showed far more character. What a pity, it was my last bottle.

Originally from pieces of land on the Saering and Kessler Grand Cru (Heisse Wanne). 1.9 g/l of residual sugar. Certified organic. Medium bodied wine with texture and viscosity. Very fresh, youthful yet smooth and balanced, great flow. Right after opening some bitterness, which disappeared completely after short time and the wine bloomed with ripe juicy grapefruit, litchi, lime and typical for silvaner that spicy sparkle on the palate. Very tasty and very fine.

Tasted twice, a firm bouquet with medium acidity and a good concentration in the midtaste with the modesty of the somewhat flowery sylvaner into the quite long finish.

See my previous note; second day better (more complexity).

Second bottle showed even more structured; the acidity is lower than a riesling offers, but the wine remained very fresh.
