Deep golden yellow. In one of the tasting notes aroma described as bruised yellow apple and that was spot one for day 1. The wine developed into different directions on day 2 & 3: sugerbread, lobster. Not as interesting as other Savennieres. 89/90

sb Bright gold Huge bruised apple nose and oxidized apple and pineapple flavors. Rich, but bone dry with a lovely slightly bitter finish. I considered, but didn’t immediately land on Savennieres. More obvious (as typical) after the reveal... Really lovely, in a more oxidized, natural style.

Bright yellow gold This particular bottle had huge bruised apple and a hint of pineapple on the nose Dry waxy barely oxidative apple flavors. Bone dry, but quite ripe. This particular bottle is quite lovely with no end in sight in distinction to a bottle a year back

Classic Chenin a la Savennieres. Really clean and long. DO give it some air if you have some. Paired with chevre crottin & crackers. Lovely Wine.
