  Discovery of 2016 Edmus, made of 85% M and 15% CF, through samples drunk by watching the online tasting led by the estate's two consulting winemakers, Derenoncourt and Bocchio. The complex nose is packed with powerful scents of oak (they will clear up as the tasting progresses), black raspberries and wild blueberries completed by subtle and refined nuances of liquorice, expresso, red roses and cinnamon. On the palate, we are in front of a medium-bodied precious casket which offers a beautiful depth of texture and aromas. The grain of tannins is elegant and the mouthfeel is silky like a noble cloth. The balance is right, between the maturity of a well-defined fruit and this acidity which nicely stretches the wine. A hint of menthol, on the finish, brings freshness and momentum. So enjoyable right now and will age in interesting ways.

  Forward, elegant and fresh, with a floral note that adds to the medium-bodied, sweet and juicy red fruits. This will provide easy drinking pleasure on release.

  An elegant, early drinking charmer with an open, ripe, sweet, fresh cherry and thyme character, this wine will provide easy drinking and medium bodied pleasure.
