Retail $40. Under cork. Big Ass Bottle. Another left-over from the Second Annual Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir and this certainly seems better with another couple of years on it. Don't get me wrong, I loved it back in 2019, but now, the closed nose of two years ago is much more open with beautiful red and dark cherry, black raspberry, and freshly tilled earth. Yum. The palate is fruity and fresh with wave upon wave of fruit, plenty of lip-smacking acidity, and an earthy edge that is compelling. Really close to a Whoa. OK. Whoa.
PnP. Baked purple fruit and spice; slight sweetness; expressive and pleasant, if not one dimensional and a tad hot. About medium in body with a dose of refreshing acidity.
My previous bottle I pegged for more red fruit but that was wrong or this is different, this is definitely more sweetish dark cherry to me. Little bit of bite on the finish, but an enjoyable bottle of wine overall.

100% Dijon Clone. Barrel Fermented and aged in French oak (75% new).. Barrel selection for the final wine. After air time aromas show a deeper richer style with black cherries and black raspberry scents that incorporate pomegranate, spice cake, vanilla, potpourri, split cedar, cola and earth. The palate reflects the richer style. Showing above moderate density across the palate that showcases black cherry flavors with cassis, black raspberry, pomegranate, spice, vanilla, flowers, cola, earth and cedar. The finish lingers with depth and concentration as well as grip. A richer Willamette style.

Medium ruby. Red fruited and floral. Palate gives away more sappy and tart red cherry. Nicely integrated acidity and displays better than anticipated length. Refreshing and tasty. Has the stuffing to be good in 5 years too.
