  • WOW!. What an evolution. This is amazing. It is finally coming together and showing beautifully. For those who like dirty earthy wines, this is a real treat. Dark color with plum, earth, mineral bouquet. Medium bodied with sweet earthy flavors along with dark fruits, plums. Absolutely delicious now, but no rush to drink it. It should drink well for at least a few more years if not longer. For those who want to taste the magnificent 2002 in its prime, this is what it tastes like. If the other bottles continue tot taste like that, I"m in for a real treat. Beautiful. Stylistically very different from the 2011 and 2012

  • Nice ripe concentrated fruit. Very youthful but very approachable. Can drink with enjoyment now but can also age. Right now mainly primary youthful fruit with not a lot of secondary characteristics yet.

  • 93-94+. Wow! This is really great stuff. Dense dark purple color. Explosive velvety bouquet of cassis, jam, fresh forest, earth. Medium to full body on the palate. Loaded with cassis and dark fruit flavors with loads of velvety tannins and tons of ripe fruit. Great concentration. Long finish. Drinking well now but probably will develop further. Easily drinking best from now to 2025. Likely will be good 2028 or 2030. Really impressive! Really packs a lot of ripe fresh fruit. I had the 2011 the next day. This is more of a ripe fruity style of Bordeaux representative of a very ripe vintage. The 2011 is more tannic and structured like old world classic bordeaux. Both are excellent and both have their merits. It'll be fun watching both age side by side. Both are 14% ABV

  • The most impressive showing yet. Very dense and very dark color. Deep brooding explosive earthy bouquet with dark plums, blackberry, sweet earth, dark fruits. On the palate, full bodied, dense and concentrated with loads of fruit and a lot of well integrated tannins. Very earthy ripe fruit with dark berries and hints of smoke and cassis on the palate. Long finish. Tasty now, it will improve further. Drink from 2023-2030

  • Dense and concentrated. A little more backward than the last time I tasted it. With extended breathing it can be enjoyed now or can age another 5 to 10 years. Likely will be at peak within two to three years and holds plateau for another 5 years after that. Excellent QPR.
