  A good wine, but a step behind what I'm used to tasting here. Good ripe red fruits and fresh earth. Juicy fruity red. Good balance, decent concentration but lighter than usual. I cannot put my finger on it, but its not as good as other vintages. Worth trying but unless a retry convinces me otherwise, I don't think I'll put any away to age or even for current consumption. Drink now to 2026

  A good solid effort, but at least today, a step behind the 2010, 2011,2012,2014,2015. Dark color. Nice earthy bouquet with some sweet ripe dark fruit. Medium bodied with nice flavors of earth, sweet dark fruits. Lots of tannins which are hiding some of the flavors. Dark berries and even some cassis on the back. Long finish. Still good QPR and a solid wine worth having. It could also be at that awkward point in development where its youthful fruit has settled and the tannins still need to fall and secondary flavors have yet to develop. I would like to retry this soon
