At $10, a win. Cheesy nose--super cheese. But taste profile is nice, if bland, Chianti. Stylistically typical and very drinkable, with good acid. Agree that the nose is really strange, and I'm a "nose over palate" guy, but not the first time I've a wine with a messed up nose but perfectly decent palate.
Also, that Ermine is buff as hell.

Dark ruby with moderate legs. Medium mouth feel. Slight aroma of cherry and plum on the nose. Plum and figs on the palate. Dry finish.

Simple decent wine. Tastes like a $10 Chianti. Thankfully, it is just that.
